Tony McCoy tips Jezki for Cheltenham Festival glory

Nineteen-time champion jockey Tony McCoy believes that his best chance of a win at the Cheltenham Festival will come on Jezki in the Champion Hurdle.

Tony McCoy has tipped Jezki to edge out favourite Faugheen in the Champion Hurdle at next week's Cheltenham Festival.

The 19-time champion jockey, who will retire at the end of the season, saw Jezki win last year's race, and the Northern Irishman believes that experience will help him to outlast the unbeaten favourite.

The 40-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "The horse I'm most looking forward to riding at the Festival is Jezki. I think he has got the best chance of winning.

"I know Faugheen is the one that they are all talking about, but there's no form like Champion Hurdle form."

McCoy has won the Champion Hurdle on three previous occasions, with his last triumph coming on Binocular in 2010.
