VBET sports review: Available betting markets and options

This is a comprehensive platform. Including Esports and miscellaneous events, there are up to 40 sporting options, including football, racing and more. Naturally, we’ve gone into depth to test them all out.

More than 25 pre-match sports betting markets can be found. Within each, for example, football, you will further discover dozens of competitions, hundreds of matches and thousands of different markets. Horse racing is in focus, along with football, tennis and much more.

vbet-sports-markets-uk

Features are available to help you along, and bets are processed very quickly. We also noted a great live betting section right off the bat with fair real-time odds.

VBET: Odds, limits & the overall betting experience

The overall experience is good here, with odds very fair across a diverse sports betting library. The live betting is outstanding and features such as cash-outs and bet builders are available.

With bets processed quickly, the platform is not only modern but also suitable for the mobile era. While the site is busy at the top with promotions, the rest of the interface is minimal in terms of links, so it’s easy to find your sport, competition, event, or specific bet.

£5,000 per transaction is allowed via debit cards, while using Trustly means you can go right up to £50,000.

Multi-View, Quick Bet, Match Tracker and other features

VBET is rich with extra features, all designed to make your betting experience quicker, better, or both. Some of the best features of the VBET platform include:

  • Quick Bet: A one-click betting feature to speed up during live play.
  • Multi-View: You can follow several live games at once.
  • Match Tracker: Follow games with live stats and heat maps.
  • Cash Out: Full and partial cash-outs are available.
  • Bet Builder: Create custom bets as a multiple within one event (football games, etc).

There is also an AI tool to make things slicker.

The bottom line: Fair odds and market choice are great, but these tools enhance the experience to the benefit of the punters.

Reviewing Vbet’s bonuses and promotions

Vbet sports offer: £10 free wager

The Vbet promo code unlocks a £10 free bet for staking an initial £10. Terms of course apply, these being the main ones to keep in mind:

  • New customers only aged 18+
  • £10 deposit and £10 stake needed
  • £10 back as a free bet if your first bet loses – excluding horses and greyhounds
  • Free bet applies on singles and multiples – not to be used on horses or greyhounds

The deal is small compared to some brands, but it’s not the only reason to join.

VBET casino review: new player casino bonus

There is also a new customer deal on the casino side of the website, which should suit you better. Fifty free spins are available if you stake £10 after joining.

At the time of writing, the free spins come on Big Bass Bonanza, though this can change frequently. Remember to check all the terms and conditions and restrictions will apply. After you join, further promotions are available, such as 10% weekly cashback for casino players.

vbet-casino-welcome-bonus

The sports bonus is the better deal, but we need to see how it compares to those offered by key competitors such as Unibet, NetBet, Betway, and Bet365.

VBET new customers: Our experience of signing up

The app and the desktop site are available, but we used and the mobile browser to sign up via iOS (Apple). The experience basically remains the same, no matter what. The whole sign-up takes just a few moments and here is what you’ll need when joining VBET:

  • Your full name, date of birth and address (all must be accurate and provable).
  • Your email and a new username and password.
  • Your preferred payment method(s) (we have a full list of accepted methods below).
  • Your bet limits and other preferences.

Make sure to claim your bonus, reading the T&Cs as you do to ensure compliance.

The bottom line: Signing up is very quick and easy. Fill in the entire form, then you will receive a confirmation email with any other information you need.

VBET review: The website interface and functionality

No matter how you choose to bet with VBET: desktop site, mobile browser or app, the platform is straightforward to find your way around.

The main website we found to be darker themed, save for some flashes of pink that stand out, giving it a professional appearance overall. It is sleek and focused on sports betting, with the main info right where you’d expect it.

On the home page, you’ll see a ticker tape of promos and all the latest live in-play betting odds beneath that. The site is intuitive and simple to navigate.

The main VBET website – navigation and key functionality

Smooth live betting is something we noticed. Bets are processed quickly, especially via Multiview and Quickbet. Hooray AI is used as an AI assistant to help make things even faster.

Quick links are at the top to help you log in, get app downloads, and access key areas such as ‘sports’, ‘racing’, and ‘casino’. At the bottom, you will see a link to your bet slip and the menu, which contains:

  • In-play
  • Pre-match
  • Racing
  • Casino
  • Live casino
  • Safe gambling
  • Free to play
  • Promotions

The layout remains very user-friendly throughout. Menus are easy to find, and all links work quickly.

Mobile betting with VBET: Sports wagering on the move

There is both a mobile betting site and a free, dedicated app for betting on the move with VBET. More positive reviews seem to come from iOS (Apple) users than Android users (more details below).

This could be down to the functionality on iOS, which we also found to be good, allied with the fact that Apple Pay is accepted as a payment method to speed things up.

The VBET mobile website

As usual, the mobile browser site at VBET is simply a smaller version of the desktop site. It works similarly to the app and behaves very well.

When you bet via mobile, nothing is missing. All markets, including live betting, customer service, banking, promotions, and everything else, are available. All you need is a decent 4G, 5G, or WiFi connection, and the site will work well on all modern tablets and smartphones.

The free VBET app

You can download the latest VBET app from Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). Once more, all functionality is available, so nothing is missing from that app that you’d expect to see on the leading or mobile site.

The interface is professional and sleek, and it all works well with a decent connection. As real users (below) pointed out, it tends to work a little better on Apple devices.

Payment methods: Debit cards, Apple Pay, Trustly and more

No fees are charged for depositing or withdrawing at VBET. Compared to betting sites of a similar size, we also found a very good range of payment options, all of which are very secure, with encryption deployed to keep your data safe.

Check the bonus terms and conditions when you join or accept a promotion. Some payment methods, such as e-wallets, preclude you from receiving bonuses.

We’ve listed the full payment options for deposits and withdrawals below, along with their known timings and limits.

How to deposit money with VBET

Here’s how you can deposit with VBET. This is the case both for your first deposit as well as any further account top-ups:

Payment methodDeposit timeMinimum deposit
Visa (debit)Instant£10
Mastercard (debit)Instant£10
Apple PayInstant£5
TrustlyInstant£5
NetellerInstant£5
PayzInstant£5
SkrillInstant£5
ecoPayzInstant£5
MuchBetterInstant£10
PayPalInstant£10

The maximum deposit for all (except PayPal) is £2,000. You can always chat with customer service for more information, and we’ve listed the ways to do so below.

With PayPal, the maximum may well be £200, as is often the case. To deposit, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your account
  2. Go to banking, then ‘deposit’
  3. Choose your payment type and amount
  4. Confirm your payment

Withdrawing money at VBET

The general policy is that with VBET, you can withdraw via the same methods as you deposit. For clarity, here is the complete list:

MethodFeeProcessing timeMinimum withdrawal
Visa (debit)Free48-72 hours£10
Mastercard (debit)Free48-72 hours£10
Apple PayFree0-24 hours£10
TrustlyFree0-24 hours£10
NetellerFree0-24 hours£10
PayzFree0-24 hours£10
SkrillFree0-24 hours£10
ecoPayzFree0-24 hours£10
MuchBetterFree0-24 hours£10
PayPalFree0-24 hours£10

As you can see, e-wallets are fast but often charge a fee. VBET does not charge for processing, but you should check with your provider. Some debit card transactions could take up to 5 business days, which would be unusual.

Once again, the maximum withdrawal appears to be £2,000, but this will likely be more of a guide. Again, customer service can advise if you are lucky enough to warrant a much bigger payout.

Payment methods: Things to consider with VBET

KYC, which stands for ‘Know Your Customer’ is prevalent here. Checks may be needed before your first withdrawal as part of anti-money laundering procedures. This is part of VBET’s licencing conditions with the Gambling Commission and is perfectly normal.

To comply, you may need to supply evidence of your ID, such as a passport, driving licence, or other photo identification.

There are no cryptocurrencies here, but plenty of e-wallets. These must be prepaid, come at a cost, and may preclude you from receiving a bonus. Most people use debit cards.

VBET review 2025: Customer service & how to get in touch

VBET’s customer service is good, we had no issues here. Being part of a larger betting group, it’s no surprise that VBET has knowledgeable staff on hand to assist. They are also friendly when contacted.

There’s certainly no hiding out here. Plenty of ways to get in touch have been made easy. For good measure, though, we’ve listed exactly what to do and where to go within VBET.

How to contact the team at VBET in the UK

If you need to speak in detail with a member of the VBET team for any reason, get in touch via the following ways:

  • Live chat system: available 24/7 via the website – the best way to get in touch.
  • Email: [email protected]
  • Telephone: 0203 582 4005 – available to call between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm UK time.

So, you can write (email) and wait for a reply (24 hours or so), engage in real-time conversation online (live chat), or speak to an operator (phone). All options are covered, which we like to see.

FAQs and ‘Live Chat’ – the best way to get in touch

If you have a general query about VBET, not something particularly about your account or circumstances, then you can visit the brand’s FAQ section. This is at the bottom of the main website’s homepage.

We definitely recommend that you use the live chat system for all matters. Here, you can get real-time responses from an agent and in writing. Your session won’t end until your query is solved, so there’s nothing not to like.

To access live chat, simply:

  • Find the chat icon, usually stylised as a speech bubble.
  • Tap the icon, enter your details and wait for the chat to start.

VBET UK review: Real user feedback

We should point out immediately that on Truspilot, above all review sites, users tend to be more negative. That’s not to say the real user testimonials there are worthless, and they should be read for info. The brand does only get 1.2/5 from Truspilot users, and this is what some of them had to say:

“Customer service always good – quick at responding and sorting any problems.”

“Site loads one minute then is unreachable the next. Also very fast withdrawals via Visa, but I accidently went through NetTeller and I’m still waiting after two days.”

Much of the feedback pertained to the casino, while others, such as the comment on the right, do not relate to our experience using the site, mobile site, or app.

App Store (iOS users)

At the time of writing, well over 400 reviews had been given of the VBET app via the App Store. Those users gave the app a solid 4.4 out of 5 on average. Here are some of their selected comments, most being very good:

One of the best apps in gaming, super innovative, great product!”

“Cool app! Not overloaded, has everything you need for betting”

The ratings are almost all good, but getting written reviews in English isn’t easy. Many people comment on the casino, and a full VBET poker review is inappropriate for us now. Sports punters seem to be very happy.

Google Play (Android users)

Android users, in our experience, tend to rate apps just a little lower. Here, they’ve allowed for an average of 2.2 / 5 with the VBET app review, and this is what some of them chose to write:

“***** great free bets”

“They don’t want any more customers, that’s why they don’t verify anymore even though you SUBMIT every document you have. Waste of time”

The comment on the right is genuine customer feedback. But, for clarity, if the brand needs to verify identity, they will. We didn’t find this to be a problem in general when we chose to review VBET.

The bottom line: The usual mixed bag. Good comments are hard to find, but ratings are strong via iOS users which is a good nod towards the Apple-based VBET app.

Responsible gambling at VBET

At the foot of the main VBET website, you will see a link to ‘Safer Gambling’. Here, there is a detailed and up-to-date Responsible Gambling Policy. The brand appears genuinely committed to promoting safe betting on its platform.

If you are no longer enjoying spending time on the VBET website, app, or any other betting site, then we recommend you stop immediately. We recommend that you set yourself betting limits (daily, weekly or monthly), and don’t be tempted to chase any losses. There is always help available to you.

You can set bet limits with VBET when joining. Reading about responsible gambling policy is also a good idea. As well as this, VBET has links and affiliations with:

  • BeGambleAware
  • GamStop
  • Gambling Therapy

If you believe you may need help right now and want to speak to someone, then you can talk 24/7 and free of charge to those at the National Gambling Helpline. Call 0808 802 0133 to chat to the team.

SBK vs the rest: Comparing it to bet365 and more

Every online betting experience offers something that you can’t get elsewhere. By rights, no two bookies should be the same, and that’s the way we like it. That’s why we thoroughly review all our brands.

First, we must say that we need to compare VBET to some of the best available brands. This is a comprehensive platform, so we wanted to see what they can offer compared to some prominent names.

Unibet, NetBet, Betway, and especially Bet365 are huge on the market, and so we’ve set VBET quite a task in order to compete well.

VBET compared to Unibet, NetBet, Betway and bet365 in the UK

BrandNumber of sportsAverage app ratingsWelcome offerBest known forBest feature
VBET>404.2/5 (App Store) & 2.2/5 (Google Play)Bet £10, get £10 in free betsGreat sports and Esports betting varietyCash-out feature with live visuals
Unibet30+4.0 & 3.6£20 in free bets and £20 casino bonus for betting £10Sports sponsorshipGreat live, in-play betting suite
NetBet30+4.9 & 3.0Bet £10, get £20 in free betsVery diverse betting marketsLive betting with real-time stats
Betway30+4.7 & 4.3£30 matched bet + 100 free spinsFootball and horse racing coverageBet builder tools
bet36540+4.7 & 4.6Bet £10, get £30 in free betsBeing the largest and most famous online brandCash-out flexibility (partial, ultra-fast)

As you can see, the brand performs well. In offering more than 40 sports and events, it matches bet365 and even beats the others.

The Unibet sign up offer is a slightly more valuable bonus, though that is a more established brand in the UK. There, you can get £20 in free bets and a £20 casino bonus for betting the same £10 stake. Strictly speaking, there are fewer events to bet on at Unibet than at VBET, and we aren’t overly concerned about the size of the casino portion of this deal.

Once more, NetBet’s offering of 30 or more sports is solid but not quite as good as VBET’s. The NetBet welcome offer is similar to Unibet’s, higher than VBET’s £10 bonus, but as we said regarding Unibet, this deal alone isn’t enough to switch to NetBet.

Betway has become huge and is synonymous with race and football club sponsorship. We’d expect them to be able to afford a larger Betway sign up offer, and they don’t let us down on that front.

New Betway customers can claim a £30 matched bet + 100 free spins. So, the deal as a headline is worth triple what VBET can offer, but it is a ‘matched’ bet. To get the full £30, you’d need to stake that initially.

It’s almost cruel of us to compare the VBET offer to that given out at bet365, one of, if not the biggest, online betting entity on the planet. Here, the bet365 bonus code unlocks £30 in free bets for the same £10 stake needed at VBET. That’s hard to compete with in all honesty.

The Vbet app performs very well overall, unsurprisingly being beaten only by Betway and Bet365. Given the level of the competition, this comparison table is impressive.

The bonus is a little small in comparison. That said, we always say that the bonus is not the be-all and end-all; it’s about the ongoing product offered after you join.

VBET UK review: Their key history and milestones to date

VBET, as we know it now, came about from forming a betting company in Armenia. The brand was set up by brothers Vahe and Vigen Badalyan and ultimately became an entirely reputable international online betting site and online casino.

Originally known as Vivaro, the brand has changed over time and integrated into the brothers’ leading tech companies: SoftConstruct and BetConstruct.

International expansion began in 2014, some 11 years after formation, with major growth from 2015 to 2018. Now, the brand is planning a major assault on the very busy British sports betting and casino market.

VBET history: A timeline of events to date

Any brand capable of surviving this long in the competitive online betting community is worth commending, let alone one that is expanding. Here’s a potted history of VBET to date:

  • 2003 – Vigen and Vahe Badalyan form their first betting company in Armenia
  • 2003 – The land-based company expands into the online market
  • 2014 – International expansion begins (licenced in Malta) and an online casino is added
  • 2015 – Major growth began, along with the addition of live betting, a live casino, and Esports
  • 2020 – A UK licence is sought and granted
  • 2023 – An improved app, fast payouts, and an improved website added

Recapping the VBET review: Innovative sportsbook with plenty of choice

Firstly, I couldn’t fail to be impressed with this platform overall. Signing up is fast and straightforward, though the initial bonus is a little small, but that never bothers me too much. It’s all about the betting markets, odds fairness and available tools.

I liked the interface, which is professional and kept deliberately clean. That said, it’s just as easy to bet via the free app when you’re on the move, which I found most enjoyable.

The brand is fully licenced, regulated and improving all the time. There are many sports and events (40), great live betting, helpful tools such as Match Tracker and many payment options.

Every betting site I review has its positives and negatives. It’s fair and proper to mention the not-so-good elements of a sportsbook, just so that people can see a balanced view and make their minds up. I hope you do that following this honest review. These are the highlighted pros and cons of VBET as I see it:

Pros

Excellent payment methods – there are lots to choose from and all are instant.
Very wide sports coverage – 40+ sports and events, lots of live betting.
24/7 customer support – available via lots of channels, including live chat.

Cons

Relatively small bonus – just £10 back (if losing) for a £10 stake. There is an alternative, found during our VBET casino review.
Limited streaming – live bets are good, but there is no so much live video.
