The top Best Odds Guaranteed betting sites in the UK include CopyBet (early start time at the final declaration stage) and bet365 (greyhound coverage with no stated cap). BOYLE Sports is next in line, featuring the highest daily cap at £50,000.
We explored and analyzed the BOG terms of 16 UKGC-licensed bookmakers, then recorded and ranked the 10 best according to start times, benefit cap, and 4 other criteria.
Best Odds Guaranteed means that if the starting price beats the price you took, the bookmaker pays out at the bigger price. This page compares the terms across 16 betting sites with Best Odds Guaranteed, so you can pick an account on the strength of what it actually pays rather than what it’s called.
BOG terms differ across bookies. Start times run from the moment a race is priced to 10:00 on race day, daily caps run from £1,000 to no cap at all, and several major bookmakers exclude multiples, greyhounds or both.

How we ranked Best Odds Guaranteed betting sites
To pick and rank the 10 Best Odds Guaranteed UK sites, we read every bookmaker’s own promotional terms in full, line by line. We checked 16 BOG bookies out of 30+ UK-licensed betting sites with the concession. We then recorded and compared 6 fields across all BOG bookies, and these are:
- Start time
- Daily benefit cap
- Whether greyhounds qualify
- Whether multiples qualify
- What’s excluded
- Whether extra winnings are paid as cash or free bets
We weighted them in the order of start time, cap, coverage, payment form, and then how durable the concession is on an active account. Start time leads because the guarantee only has value if you take a price before the market moves. A 2-hour difference in start times between bookmakers is worth more for most punters than a large difference in the BOG benefit cap.
Before considering any bookmaker, we checked their UKGC licence against gamblingcommission.gov.uk. Sports Mole may earn commission from some operators featured here, but that has no bearing on our transparency and how we judged their terms.
Every UK bookmaker’s BOG terms compared
Best Odds Guaranteed is a concession that sounds like a single promotion just on name. But BOG covers different offers between UK bookmakers when you read the terms. They differ a lot between bookies across 6 variables. That’s start time, daily or per-bet cap, types of races covered, bet types, eligibility, and exclusions.
When BOG kicks in, and how much of the price uplift is actually covered, are the two biggest variables to consider here.
An offer running from final declarations is a different product to one that only wakes up at 10am. A low cap can quietly limit the value on a bigger stake. As you can see below, the biggest split is the start time. CopyBet leads with BOG applied from the final declaration stage, up to 72 hours out. At the other end, BetGoodwin, BetAhoy and BetVickers all sit at 10:00.
The table below presents these terms based on each bookmaker’s own published promotional terms:
| Bookmaker | BOG from | Daily cap | Horses | Greyhounds | Multiples | Each-way | Paid as | Key exclusions |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CopyBet | Final declaration stage | Not stated | UK & Irish | No | Yes | Yes | Cash | Ante-post, future racing, pool bets, packaged accas, special bets |

BOG start times, and why they decide everything
Best Odds Guaranteed pays out when your selection drifts, and that happens mostly in the mornings as money moves through the market. If a bookmaker’s BOG doesn’t switch on until 10:00, most of that movement has already happened. You’ve then missed the part of the day the guarantee is worth most.
Off the back of that, betting sites with Best Odds Guaranteed can take on 4 tiers:
- BOG start time tier 1 – Here, CopyBet sits alone at the top. Covers bets from the moment a race is priced. That can be up to 72 hours out, as happened during the 2026 Grand National meeting.
- BOG start time tier 2 (08:00) – Next comes 08:00, where bet365, BOYLE Sports, Betfred, Coral, Paddy Power, William Hill and Ladbrokes all fall under.
- BOG start time tier 1 (09:00) – BetVictor and talkSPORT BET start at 09:00.
- BOG start time tier 1 (10:00 and after) – BetGoodwin, BetAhoy, BetVickers and (via Sky Bet Club) Sky Bet don’t switch on until 10:00.
When we say CopyBet offers BOG “from when the race is priced” we mean at the final declaration stage. CopyBet’s terms say prices go up on selected races and BOG applies from that point rather than a fixed clock time, so a race priced 72 hours out carries the guarantee for the full 72 hours. If you’re a punter who bets the evening before racing, it pays to know that an overnight price carries no BOG protection at all at every other bookmaker reviewed here. Few bookmakers state an end time.
Max benefit: the daily or per-bet cap nobody checks
The benefit cap is a maximum on the extra winnings BOG will pay out, separate from a bookmaker’s general max winnings rules. The two get confused, but they’re not the same thing.
The spread across benefit caps is wide. At the bottom, Paddy Power caps at £1,000 a day, while BOYLE Sports states £50,000 daily cap, a 50x difference on a concession with the same name. bet365 and Betfred publish no cap figure at all, though ordinary maximum-winnings limits still apply.
Here’s when it actually bites. Take £50 on a horse backed at 4/1 that drifts to go off at 8/1. The extra winnings BOG produces on that one bet come to £200, which is comfortably under every cap on this page. Stack several drifting winners across a full card, though, and a £1,000 or £2,500 cap starts to count. A £50,000 cap almost never will.
Some BOG benefit caps are per bet (like BetGoodwin’s £1,000 per bet), some per day (most including the highest £50k at BOYLE Sports), or per customer. Ladbrokes splits its cap between horses and greyhounds. It only matters if you stake seriously or bet a full card. If you’re betting £10 a race, the highest cap may not mean much to you.
Top 10 Best Odds Guaranteed betting sites
The best UK betting sites with Best Odds Guaranteed in 2026 are CopyBet, bet365, BOYLE Sports, Betfred, and Coral. Below, we dig into our top 10 BOG bookies and why they rank high for UK punters.
1. CopyBet: best for the earliest start time in the market
CopyBet’s Best Odds Guaranteed applies from the final declaration stage on all UK and Irish racing. Technically, that can be up to 72 hours before a race. It helps that there’s no stated daily cap. Their BOG covers singles, accumulators of 2+ legs, and multiples including patents, trixies and Lucky 15s.
Although they’ve no welcome offer and do not offer BOG on greyhound racing, the rest of the Best Odds Guaranteed horse racing product is right up there. The platform also runs an Extra Places offer on selected races, with live streaming on all UK and Irish greyhound and horse races. Read our CopyBet review for the full picture on its sportsbook and racing product.
The platform is operated by CopyBet UK Ltd under UKGC licence number 53774.

2. bet365: best for BOG racing coverage
bet365’s BOG runs from 08:00 on the day of the race on UK & Irish horse and greyhound racing, with no stated daily cap on the extra winnings. Best Odds Guaranteed here applies to Win and Each Way Fixed Odds markets, including multiples and Bet Boost bets. Covers both singles and combinations. Ante-post bets, adjusted place terms and Tote/Pari-Mutuel bets are excluded.
Operating under UKGC licence number 55148, bet365 no longer runs its old Price Promise price-match guarantee, which used to work alongside BOG on ITV races. The start time can be up to 72 hours later than at CopyBet. Even so, it is standard 08:00 kicks in earlier than the 09:00 start at BetVictor and talkSPORT BET.
As detailed in the full bet365 review, the bookmaker does horse racing really well with a gold standard in-race betting interface and live streaming of all UK & Irish racing. They post early prices, offer winning boosts, and there are no more 5p Rule 4 deductions.

Cons

3. BOYLE Sports: the highest daily cap in the market
BOYLE Sports pays BOG from 08:00 on the day of the race, on UK and Irish horse racing, with a £50,000 daily cap per customer. That’s over 10x the maximum extra winnings for horse racing at Ladbrokes.
For BOG to kick in at BOYLE Sports, bets must be placed after 8am and before the off. In-running bets, ante-post, Tote/pools and match bets don’t qualify, and free, void or cashed-out bets are excluded outright.
Live streaming is available on all UK and Irish racing, with regular racecards and daily specials explained in the full BOYLE Sports review. Unfortunately, greyhound racing is not covered by their BOG offer, so racing punters who bet across both codes will need a second account. It operates under UKGC licence number 39469.

4. Betfred: no stated benefit cap on BOG
Betfred’s BOG applies to all UK and Irish races from 08:00 on race day, with no stated daily cap, following its January 2026 expansion of the offer into shops as well as online. It covers Win and Each Way bets on singles and standard multiples. The platform is run by Petfre (Gibraltar) Ltd under UKGC licence number 39544.
Unlike most BOG betting sites like bet365 and Coral, the offer here doesn’t cover Lucky 15s, Lucky 31s and Lucky 63s. Also excluded are Super Extra Place races, ante-post and Tote bets, which is an odd take given how heavily Betfred markets those same bet types online. To find out how these racing options work, read our complete Betfred review.

5. Coral: best for racing promotions alongside BOG
Coral’s BOG covers UK and Irish horse racing and greyhound racing from 08:00, with a £10,000 daily cap, and requires a one-off opt-in on the promotions page. It applies to Race Winner, Each Way and combination/system multiples.
BOG here does not cover ante-post, forecasts, tricasts, Enhanced Accumulators or Price Boosts. As you can see in our Coral review, the bookie runs a deep racing slate alongside it, including the Coral Racing Club ownership scheme, Pipped at the Post payouts and the Racing Super Series free-to-play game.
However, deposits via mostly e-wallets like PayPal, Skrill, and Neteller don’t qualify a customer for the promotion. Coral is operated by LC International Limited under UKGC licence number 54743.

Cons

6. BetVictor: best for no wagering BOG terms
BetVictor pays BOG from 09:00 on the day of the race to the off, on UK and Irish horse racing, with a £10,000 daily cap. It isn’t stated in BV Gaming’s own terms whether greyhounds or multiples qualify, so treat both as unconfirmed until you check your own bet slip. Our BetVictor review also found live streaming on UK, Irish, French and US horse racing.
Cashed-out, partially cashed-out and void bets don’t count, and the offer only applies to the standard win market, not Place Only, Bet Boosts or Price Boosts. The main downside here is the later start time of 09:00 compared with the 08:00 standard at bet365, Betfred, and Coral.

Cons

7. talkSPORT BET: another BV Gaming brand with strong BOG terms
talkSPORT BET is operated by the same BV Gaming’s UKGC licence number 39576 as BetVictor, and its BOG terms match line for line: 09:00 start, £10,000 cap, cashed-out and void bets excluded, Place Only and Boost markets excluded. That’s useful to know before opening a second account expecting a different offer.
The wider racing product here leans on talkSPORT radio branding, with daily racing specials and extensive UK and Irish coverage. As with its sister brand, the loudest BOG downside is the 09:00 start against the 08:00 majors.

Cons

8. Paddy Power: best for multiples on a major brand
Paddy Power’s BOG applies to UK and Irish horse racing from 08:00 the following day after you opt in. It works on singles and multiples, win and each-way bets. The max benefit cap for BOG is £1,000 per customer per day, among the lowest reviewed here.
As from 11 August 2026, a £5 minimum stake is required to qualify for Paddy Power’s BOG. Greyhound racing is explicitly excluded, along with ante-post, in-running and free-bet stakes. Compared to other BOG bookmakers, PP’s best odds guaranteed cap is low at £1k with an opt-in delay most rivals don’t apply.
Elsewhere in the Paddy Power review, the bookie’s Extra Places and early prices remain strong for each-way racing punters. The platform belongs to Flutter Entertainment and runs under UKGC licence number 39439.

9. William Hill: best for combining multiples with greyhound BOG
William Hill’s BOG runs from 08:00 to the off on UK and Irish horse racing, as well as on all UK Greyhound Derby races. The bookmaker imposes a £25,000 daily cap and cover BOG on both singles and multiples once you’ve opted in through the racecard.
It’s one of only a handful of bookmakers on this page that combines multiples with greyhound coverage in the same offer. As highlighted in the full William Hill review, Extra Places run frequently alongside it. WH’s offers BOG online and app only, excluding in shops or via telebetting.
The site operates under UKGC licence number 39225.

Cons

10. Ladbrokes: BOG on both horse & greyhound racing
Ladbrokes runs BOG from 08:00 on UK and Irish horse racing. Opt-in is required, with a £10,000 daily benefit cap. A separate BOG applies to greyhound racing from the same time at 08:00, with a lower £2,500 cap, which is the detail that greyhound punters should keep in mind.
Ante-post, forecasts, tricasts, Enhanced Accumulators and Price Boosts are excluded from BOG at Ladbrokes. Any bet edited or cashed out won’t qualify, either. To find out more about how cash out works on the platform, visit the Ladbrokes sports review. Like sister betting site Coral, this is an LC International brand operating under UKGC licence number 54743.
As far as best odds guaranteed goes, the biggest drawback is the max cap of £2,500 on greyhound racing. Compared to the cap at BOYLE Sports, that’s about 20x lower. It’s also easy to assume the higher £10,000 cap applies everywhere on the account when it doesn’t.

What voids your Best Odds Guaranteed, and the restriction risk
There are a few things that can strip BOG from a bet. What’s the bet made up of is the first, because free-bet and bonus-fund stakes rarely qualify. Does cashing out void best odds guaranteed? Yes, the same goes for cashed-out bets and using an acca-editing tool.
Bet type is the second group, including best odds guaranteed ante-post. Other excluded options include in-running, forecast and tricast bets, and Tote pools. As for multiples, Betfred’s exclusion of Lucky 15, 31 and 63 bets is the clearest example here.
Market and meeting rules can also void your BOG bet. International races are excluded from all the BOG betting sites we reviewed. Greyhound racing is covered at some bookmakers like Coral and Ladbrokes, while out at others like Betfred and BOYLE Sports. Specials or enhanced-price markets are usually off the list, including at CopyBet.
A clash between promotions is another restriction. Applying a Bet Boost or Price Boost to a selection can knock BOG off that bet entirely, as is the case with Coral. It’s worth checking each time you use a boost. Dead heats and non-runners can also fall outside the guarantee depending on the bookmaker.
BOG is one of the concessions UK bookmakers most commonly reserve the right to withdraw from an individual account. Several state that right on their own terms. The concession can disappear from an account without the account itself being closed, so it’s worth checking that BOG still appears on your bet confirmation from time to time, rather than assuming it’s automatic forever.
Who doesn’t offer BOG, and who quietly dropped it
Of the roughly 120+ UK-licensed bookmakers, only around 30+ currently run a Best Odds Guaranteed promotion, so its absence is the norm rather than the exception. Several newer, welcome-offer-led brands skip racing concessions entirely. Quickbet, Bally Bet, BetWright, LuckyMate and Bet442 don’t offer BOG, and neither do the longer-established 10bet or NetBet.
Star Sports removed BOG for all customers from 1 December 2025, and Planet Sport Bet excludes anyone who signed up from 28 January 2025 onward, so both should be treated as gone rather than live. Betfair Sportsbook, once a major name for BOG alongside its Price Rush concession, no longer publishes a horse racing BOG offer at all. The only surviving reference is a £1,000 cap figure that reads like a remnant of an older promotion.
Sky Bet’s version is the clearest example of a hollowed-out BOG. It’s restricted to customers who qualify for Sky Bet Club the previous week through £30 of weekly staking, and limited to selected races. Midnite runs a similarly invitation-only version, pre-race only, with no greyhound cover.
BOG on multiples, greyhounds and each-way bets
Multiples are the clearest dividing line in the market. CopyBet, Coral, Paddy Power, William Hill and Ladbrokes reportedly apply BOG to standard multiples, while bet365, BetVictor and talkSPORT BET either exclude them or leave the point unconfirmed in their published terms. Where multiples do qualify, the guarantee works leg by leg, repricing each drifting selection individually rather than the bet as a whole. Lucky 15s and other system bets are frequently excluded even where ordinary doubles and trebles qualify, and Betfred is the named case online.
Greyhounds are covered at bet365, Coral, William Hill and Ladbrokes, and reportedly excluded at CopyBet, BOYLE Sports, Betfred and Paddy Power. Greyhound markets move faster and drift further than horse racing, which is part of why fewer bookmakers extend the guarantee to the sport. Most bookmakers apply BOG to the win part of an each-way bet only, settling the place part at the price originally taken; check the full matrix in the terms comparison above before assuming otherwise. If you’re an acca punter, our accumulator betting guide covers how each-way and multiple structures affect returns beyond BOG.
What to use when BOG doesn’t apply
Betfair Starting Price on the Exchange settles bets at the exchange’s own SP rather than an early price, which sidesteps the whole question rather than answering it. Tote Guarantee is a structurally different concession. It pays at least SP on Win bets, or the Tote dividend if that’s bigger, across UK and Irish races.
Extra Places, run daily by more than a dozen bookmakers including Sky Bet, William Hill, QuinnBet, bet365, Paddy Power, Betway and BOYLE Sports, can be worth more than BOG on the same each-way bet, particularly on big-field handicaps. On any given race, the best available concession may not be BOG at all, so it’s worth a quick check before you take a price.
Side note: bet365 used to run a separate price-match guarantee, formerly called Price Promise, matching the best price at major UK bookmakers on selected ITV races; it no longer offers this alongside BOG. Betfair Sportsbook’s Price Rush, which upgraded eligible bets to a better price found elsewhere at the point of placing, has also been withdrawn.
How to choose your BOG bookmaker
If you bet the night before or first thing in the morning, only CopyBet’s final-declaration start actually covers you. If you stake £10 to £20 a race, ignore the caps entirely and pick on start time and coverage instead. If you stake seriously or bet a full card, check the cap first; £2,500 or £1,000 a day binds sooner than most punters expect.
For accas and multiples on racing, CopyBet, Coral, Paddy Power, William Hill and Ladbrokes are top betting sites with best odds guaranteed that apply. For greyhounds, it’s bet365, Coral, William Hill and Ladbrokes.
At big festivals, compare Extra Places against BOG on each-way bets before choosing either. If you want a fallback for when BOG doesn’t apply, Tote Guarantee and Extra Places are worth having alongside it. Beyond the BOG, see which bookmakers provide new racing punters with the best free bets and betting offers.
Responsible gambling
Support is available through GamCare (gamcare.org.uk), the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, and GAMSTOP for self-exclusion across all UK-licensed sites. Every bookmaker on this page offers deposit limits, time-outs and reality checks. 18+. BOG reduces one specific downside; it doesn’t make racing betting risk-free or profitable.
Key takeaways about the best BOG bookmakers in the UK

- BetGoodwin, BetAhoy and BetVickers sit latest among active offers, all starting at 10:00.
- BOYLE Sports publishes the highest cap at £50,000 a day.
- Ladbrokes and Paddy Power sit at the low end, with £2,500 (greyhounds) and £1,000 caps respectively.

- bet365, Coral, William Hill and Ladbrokes cover greyhound racing under BOG.
- Star Sports has removed BOG entirely, and Quickbet never offered it at all.
What time does Best Odds Guaranteed start?
Best Odds Guaranteed most commonly starts at 08:00 on the day of the race, though it ranges from CopyBet’s final-declaration start through 09:00 at BetVictor and talkSPORT BET, to 10:00 at BetGoodwin, BetAhoy and BetVickers. Always check the individual bookmaker’s terms rather than assuming a single UK-wide start time.
Which bookmaker has the best BOG?
CopyBet currently runs the strongest Best Odds Guaranteed offer, based on its unusually early start from the final declaration stage and its lack of a published daily cap, though it doesn’t cover greyhounds.
Is there a limit on Best Odds Guaranteed winnings?
Yes, at most bookmakers, a daily or per-bet cap applies, ranging from £250 at BetVickers to £50,000 at BOYLE Sports and Sky Bet, while bet365 and Betfred don’t publish a specific BOG ceiling.
Does BOG apply to multiples and accumulators?
Only at some bookmakers. CopyBet, Coral, Paddy Power, William Hill and Ladbrokes reportedly extend BOG to multiples, while bet365, BetVictor and talkSPORT BET either exclude them or leave the point unconfirmed.
Does BOG cover greyhound racing?
Only at some bookmakers. bet365, Coral, William Hill and Ladbrokes include greyhounds; CopyBet, BOYLE Sports, Betfred and Paddy Power do not.
Does cashing out void Best Odds Guaranteed?
Yes, cashed-out and partially cashed-out bets are excluded from BOG at every bookmaker reviewed on this page, alongside free-bet stakes, ante-post bets and, at several bookmakers, edited accumulators.
Are BOG winnings paid as cash or a free bet?
Every bookmaker reviewed here pays the additional BOG winnings as cash rather than a free bet, which matters because a free-bet payout would be worth less than its face value.
Which bookmakers don’t offer Best Odds Guaranteed?
Quickbet, Bally Bet, BetWright, LuckyMate, Bet442, 10bet and NetBet don’t offer Best Odds Guaranteed. SStar Sports withdrew it for all customers from 1 December 2025.
