Betnero sports review: Betting markets

With 31 sports categories, the main sports are all covered with some niche sports as well, such as water polo, futsal, handball, 3 x 3 basketball, and darts. The selection is on par with the best UK bookmakers. Notable niche sports that are missing include Gaelic games, skiing, and surfing.

There’s a toggle for the categories with four settings: Sport, Racing, e-Sports and Virtuals. E-football and E-basketball have their own categories, with live betting options like Both Teams to Score, Double Chance, Odds/Even, and more.

As expected, football betting is the main emphasis of the platform. The biggest matches have 200+ markets to choose from. Combining bets into a multiple is easy and can be done from your bet slip. You can create system bets and banker bets from there. The platform also offers Bet Builders for punters who want to put together a bet with multiple selections from the same match.

Betnero football betting odds & limits

To test the football betting odds for Betnero, I compared a few different markets for some of the top events of the week at the time of writing. Let’s look at a recent odds comparison for the World Cup match between France and Morocco in the Quarterfinals of the World Cup 2026, Home and Away – To Qualify.

Here are the Betnero results compared with leading bookmakers Coral and Sky Bet:

Betnero:

  • Home – 1/4 (1.25) – 80%
  • Away – 133/50 (3.66) – 27.3%
  • Overround = 7.3%

Coral:

  • Home – 1/4 (1.25) – 80%
  • Away – 13/5 (3.60) – 27.78%
  • Overround = 7.78%

Sky Bet:

  • Home – 2/9 (1.22) – 81.8%
  • Away – 3/1 (4.00) – 25%
  • Overround = 6.8%

Overall, Betnero is on par with its competitors and middle-of-the-pack in terms of odds. Our Sky Bet review found the cheapest odds for this market, but that’s not always the case. It’s important to go line shopping before making your bets. After all, odds often fluctuate.

In-play betting

In-play markets are front and center on the platform. They take the place of where most UK bookies put their top promotions of the day. I like the emphasis on in-play markets, since that’s what punters like myself often look for first when opening the site or app.

Live betting markets include football, tennis, cricket and e-sports. The market depth isn’t as extensive for in-play games as it is pre-match, but there’s still a wide range of options.

The live betting menu for football includes a Bet Builder tab, along with Combo, Extra, Main, All, and a nice addition that not all sportsbooks offer: 1 Minute. This category lets you bet on what will happen within the next 60 seconds of game time (e.g., Goal, Booking, etc).

In my testing, the odds updated in as little as 10 seconds sometimes. Bets went through smoothly as long as lines weren’t in the middle of being updated, which would only cause a momentary pause. There are dozens of markets available per event with odds that are colour-coded as they update in real-time.

There’s cash-out functionality available, but only for certain bets. However, it does include partial cash-out. I used it to cash out a £10 live bet on Ukrainian basketball (Union Kremlin) after they took a narrow lead against Riverport Team and got £6.13.

Live streaming

There’s a switch at the top-right of the in-play events page for Live Streaming. This filters the results by games that can be streamed on the platform.

In my testing, I was able to access a live stream without even being logged in. This is a major plus for the platform since some bookmakers require you to be logged in plus have an active bet or positive account balance.

There are options to adjust the quality of the stream from 540p up to 1080p (if FHD is offered on the stream). I found live streaming for sports like basketball, football, tennis, and cricket.

Betnero UK review: Casino games

Betnero Casino offers 1,882 games to choose from. This includes Megaways Slots, Drops and Wins, Slot Machines, Jackpot Slots, Slingo, Table Games, Card Games, and Live Games.

You’ll find some of the top names in the industry behind the games, like Pragmatic Play, Evolution, NetEnt, Hacksaw, RedTiger, Playtech, Play N Go, and more. There aren’t any exclusive titles, but the massive selection gives players plenty of variety.

Slots and table games

There are nearly 1,500 slot titles to choose from, which is a very long list of game icons to scroll through. I was able to narrow the list down by developers by simply clicking the search bar. In total, there are 31 different software teams to choose from. Pragmatic Play titles seem to have been featured the most in the Trending or Suggest Games sections.

Some of my favourite slot games are:

  • Buffalo King Megaways
  • Age of Pyramids
  • Red Baron
  • Ice Fishing
  • Starburst
  • Dead or Alive
  • Great Ghosts!
  • Snow Party

I liked the fact that there’s a huge variety of table games available. When I searched for Blackjack, 96 results came up, which included both live dealer tables and software games against the house. My favourite was Ruby Blackjack X (£10 min), but there are tables with lower limits, such as £5, and tables with much higher limits available (£100 per hand+).

Roulette came up with 39 results, including low stakes (10-20p min bet), various higher stakes games and a few live games. My favourite was European Roulette Pro.

Live casino

Live casino games at Betnero include Live Blackjack, Live Baccarat, Live Roulette, Asian Games, Game Shows and Speed Games. The Asian Games category mostly includes baccarat variants, but also has Sic Bo, Andar Bahar, and more.

The Speed Games are faster variants of games like Blackjack and Baccarat, and the Game Shows include Crazy Time, Dice City, Lucky 7, and many others.

As a Blackjack player, I loved the fact that there were so many options with real live dealers. There’s an icon over each live game’s tile telling you how many players are currently in the room, as well as how many available spots there are at the table, if any.

The studios powering the live games include Evolution, Playtech Live, Inspired Live, StakeLogic Live, Pragmatic Play Live, and Creedroomz. These are some of the top studios in the industry, and the gameplay is quite smooth overall.

If you have a connection that suffers from lag, you’ll see the quality of your stream go down when connectivity is weak. However, if you have a solid connection, the games will play fluidly and the video of the dealer will remain crisp.

Dealer availability can be an issue during peak hours (8pm-11pm), especially for the most popular tables. You can always wait in line for a spot to come open, but that can sometimes take a while.

Betting limits range from 10p up to £10,000 per round/hand. In my testing, the low stakes tables nearly always had players in them, especially for Roulette and Blackjack. I prefer having some players in the room to having no players. I don’t fancy sitting at an empty table.

Betnero’s website

I found Betnero’s website to be fairly basic. The interface is a bit less busy than some of its competitors, which really try to pack in as much data density as possible. I like the fact that I don’t need to zoom in to be able to see everything displayed on the home screen, like I often do on other UK platforms.

The menus are on the left panel, followed by a middle panel containing the top leagues and sports, and the betting menu takes up the rest of the screen. Although the design feels a bit dated, the simplified layout is quite easy to get used to.

Each page takes a second or two to load after you click on it. It’s slightly slower-moving than the most modern websites, namely bet365, but it’s not slow enough to be a bother. Overall, the website is as good as it needs to be.

Betnero mobile site

Betnero does not have an app for UK punters to download. The only way to play on mobile is to access the mobile browser site. However, the mobile version of the site works just as well as the desktop version.

The resized layout for mobile is easy on the eyes and simple to use one-handed. The menu from the side on the desktop version is simplified and moved to the bottom of the screen on mobile.

I found pages to load a touch slower on mobile, but navigating the app is still fast enough to use without any issues.

Betnero betting review: Payment options

Betnero offers a short list of payment methods. You won’t find support for PayPal or Skrill, but you will find the most important options. Betnero doesn’t charge any fees for incoming or outgoing transfers.

Visa, Mastercard, and Apple Pay are eligible for the sports welcome offer. However, Trustly and Google Pay don’t qualify.

I made a withdrawal of £41.18 on 3 July 2026 to test the speed. I used the same payment option that I’d used to make my first deposit, which was Trustly. I had provided the KYC documents to Betnero’s support team before attempting the withdrawal, as they requested in the withdrawal guide on their blog.

After processing, the money hit my account on the 3rd business day. I have seen reports online that the second time you withdraw funds, it can sometimes take just one business day, which is pretty quick.

Betfred304.6/54.3/5Bet £10 get £50 in free betsCustom football bets (#PickYourPunt feature)

Compared to the top betting sites in the UK, the first thing that stands out is Betnero’s lack of a dedicated mobile app. It also offers by far the lowest welcome offer at only £10. The offer is also restricted to only Bet Builders and Accas.

The selection of sports is solid, but our review of Coral and bet365 found far more sports to choose from, including a wide range of niche sports. Betnero does have an excellent Bet Builder feature, though, which helps to set it apart from the rest.

If live betting is your preference, you can’t go wrong with bet365. If you’re looking for the largest welcome bonus, Betfred is the best option. For horse racing betting sites, Coral is a smart choice. And for betting on accas, Sky Bet’s Acca Freeze feature is a big help, which lets you “freeze” a winning leg during a live game.

User reviews & testimonials

Betnero has a low Trustpilot score of 1.9/5, which is not uncommon for betting sites. One of the main problems cited was verification issues. Here’s a comment from a user who had a negative experience with it:

“Terrible site avoid at all cost they make up there own rules up day by day absolute shambles of a site please stay away and avoid” – Hus Soney – GB – 21 reviews – 8 Feb 2026

There are also several positive reviews on Trustpilot. Another reviewer praised the online casino selection.

maybe i got lucky but i had a good experience compared to all these bad reviews, pretty quick withdrawal times compared to some others. yes the bonus gets cancelled on withdraw but they have a good casino selection” – Lewis Turner – 2 reviews – 10 June 2026

Betnero customer service replied to each comment with a lengthy professional response.

Since Betnero doesn’t have an app, there are no ratings on the App Store and Play Store. However, Trustpilot has 60 reviews that you can read.

Betnero betting review: Customer support

Support is a major downside of the platform. Betnero does not offer live chat support or phone support, which if you have a serious issue, would be very frustrating. The contact page lists its support hours as:

  • Mon – Fri: From 8AM to 11PM
  • Sat – Sun: From 10AM to 10PM

Customer service is email-only, and you will only receive a reply within the time frame above. When I emailed them during normal hours (7:30pm GMT) to ask if deposits using bank transfer are available, I received a reply within 20 minutes. The rep explained that bank transfer is only available for withdrawals and included a link to the Blog section.

The FAQ section is small and limited, with answers that have varying degrees of detail. The blog serves as a more proper FAQ, with a dozen or so articles and guides to using the site.

Responsible gambling at Betnero

In Betnero’s Responsible Gambling section, they lay out their policy and all of the tools you can use. Responsible gambling tools on the platform include session limits, deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion.

These tools can be accessed through the account settings section, including custom deposit limits that you can change anytime. Self-exclusion can be set up for 6 months to 5 years via GAMSTOP.

Betnero is not (yet) IBAS-registered (Independent Betting Adjudication Service). However, they do offer likes to help resources, including the National Gambling Helpline: 0808 8020 133 (free and available 24/7), and BeGambleAware.org.

Betnero history

Following years of successful operation in its home country of Italy, Betnero launched in the UK in 2025. The platform is operated by Anakatech Interactive Limited, which is the entity that holds a licence from the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) under account No. 48789. Betnero has no documented violations or fines from the UKGC, which is no surprise since the platform is quite new to the UK market.

Betnero review 2026: My final opinion

After testing the Betnero platform, I found it to have some nice features, but it doesn’t match the depth and quality of the best UK bookmaker sites. Betnero’s welcome offer isn’t very attractive at only £10. Its customer service is inadequate, having no live chat or phone support. Additionally, in my odds comparison, it had 7.3% overround, which is just average in the UK betting market.

However, I enjoyed the simple interface, which was refreshing after using so many cluttered betting app home screens. I was able to livestream games without even being logged in, which was a pleasant surprise.

Overall, I recommend Betnero to those who are looking for a platform that’s very simple to use and easy to stream live games on. It’s a new UK betting site with decent potential.
