Brazilian prostitutes are reportedly learning English in order to prepare for potential business during the World Cup next year.
Paying for sex is legal in the South American nation, and the Brazilian Association of Prostitutes have revealed that their vice girls have been offered English lessons.
The girls will have to learn how to work out financial deals and also use a specialised vocabulary with sensual words and fetishes," the Daily Star quotes the group's president Cido Vieira as saying.
The prostitutes are also believed to be learning from volunteer language teachers how to avoid "awkward" situations.
