Novak Djokovic does "ordinary things" ahead of Wimbledon

World number one Novak Djokovic reveals that he has been doing laundry and buying new door handles during his break ahead of Wimbledon.

World number one Novak Djokovic has revealed that he has been preparing for Wimbledon by doing "ordinary things" around his home.

The Serb is taking part in an exhibition at the The Boodles, which is his first event since losing the French Open final to Stanislas Wawrinka earlier this month.

When asked about his time off, the defending Wimbledon champion told reporters: "I don't have much free time for myself nowadays so I spend as much time as possible with my wife and my baby and live every day like a normal person.

"I understand that I have privileges in life and am able to afford many beautiful things but when I'm at home I do lot of ordinary things; laundry, garbage, cleaning. I bought door handles the other day because they were broken, though I got help to fit them."

Djokovic will begin the defence of his title against German's Philipp Kohlschreiber.
