West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce reportedly took care of a £1,155.90 bill at a hotel bar as a "thank you" to his staff over the Christmas period.
The Hammers squad are thought to have spent the cash on bottles of wine and Jack Daniel's whiskey from the evening of December 15 into the early hours of the next morning at the Hilton Hotel.
"This was a private bill paid for by the manager as a Christmas thank you to his extended backroom staff," a spokesman told The Sun.
The Hammers are currently in 14th place in the Premier League table.
