Carroll 'in row with drunken Chelsea fan'

West Ham United striker Andy Carroll was reportedly involved in a spat with a drunken Chelsea supporter at a Japanese restaurant in London's Canary Wharf at the weekend.

The 26-year-old added to Chelsea's misery by scoring the winning goal in the Hammers' 2-1 victory at Upton Park on Saturday.

According to The Sun, Carroll was targeted by the fan at Roka restaurant, where onlookers say that red wine was thrown and security guards were forced to break up the row.

The report adds that the fan, who was with a group of fellow Blues supporters, spouted abuse at the West Ham striker shortly after the footballer entered the restaurant with friends.
