West Bromwich Albion have confirmed that the squad will fly to Barcelona on Tuesday for a training camp as part of their preparations for Saturday's FA Cup tie with Southampton.

The Baggies will stay in London on Monday night after their Premier League match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, before jetting off to Spain the following morning.

During their time there, West Brom's squad will spend three days training at Espanyol's training ground, Ciutat Esportiva Dani Jarque, before returning to England on Friday.

"It's something I have always done and always found very beneficial," Baggies boss Alan Pardew told the official club website. "We're looking forward to changing the schedule and getting some freshness into the group for the run-in.

"The facilities are excellent and there is an opportunity to get in some quality training time with the players. Tottenham went there a few weeks ago and have had a very good run since returning."

Pardew organised the trip with current Espanyol head coach and former Watford manager Quique Flores.
