Walsall player arrives at West Bromwich Albion training by mistake

A Walsall player is reportedly mistakenly taken to West Bromwich Albion's training ground by a taxi.

A Walsall player reportedly turned up to the wrong training ground today when a taxi driver dropped him off at West Bromwich Albion's facility.

The player was told that he was at the wrong address after the taxi driver took him to the training base in Walsall Road, Great Barr.

According to the Express & Star, Baggies staff found the correct postcode for Walsall's ground near Essington and gave the information to the taxi driver.

Goalkeeper Ben Foster commented on the mistake by tweeting: "Ha, some Walsall FC player turned up at our training ground this morning in a taxi, Sorry lad, wrong team!"

This weekend, the Premier League side will take on Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium this Saturday.
