Stephane Sessegnon given 20-month driving ban for drink-driving

Sessegnon banned for drink-driving

West Bromwich Albion forward Stephane Sessegnon has been banned from driving for 20 months after pleading guilty to drink-driving.

The 26-year-old, who committed the offence while at former club Sunderland, has admitted to driving over the limit back in August.

The ban was issued by the court after the footballer also pleaded guilty to two counts of driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

Sessegnon was twice over the drink-drive limit when he was pulled over in Newcastle two months ago.
