Mikael Forssell misses training due to fear of cat blocking his car

VfL Bochum striker Mikael Forssell misses training due to his allergies after a cat blocked his BMW.

Former Chelsea and Birmingham City player Mikael Forssell was forced to miss training with Bundesliga side VfL Bochum after a cat blocked his car.

The Finnish forward revealed on Twitter that he is allergic to the felines and was scared to remove the cat, which was perched in front of the wheel of his BMW.

Forssell wrote: "Im allergic to cats...I need to leave 2 training...semi-scary...been there now 4 about 20mins rubbing against rubber."

The 33-year-old, who played for Chelsea as a youngster, scored more than 50 goals in England overall during spells at Crystal Palace, Birmingham and Leeds United.
