Swansea City defender Ashley Williams was asked to unveil a new Indian restaurant in the Welsh city.

The 28-year-old officially opened Mint Masala in Dwryfelin Road, Neath, alongside director Mabbs Noor, manager Shazan Islan and head chef Mohammed Islam.

Amin Shah, who is behind the new venture, told the South Wales Evening Post: "Ashley is a good friend and he does a lot of good charity work."

Meanwhile, the Wales international has been linked with a summer move away from the Liberty Stadium to Liverpool.
