Katy Perry 'leaks' Super Bowl song featuring Lenny Kravitz

Katy Perry fans were given a surprise when the American popstar appeared to leak the song that she will be performing during the Super Bowl half-time show on Sunday.

The 30-year-old, who was reportedly chosen ahead of Rihanna and Coldplay to perform at the NFL event, tweeted a link to a YouTube video claiming to carry the song.

However, it soon became clear that it was all a joke, and the track, which was posted online by Tim Heidecker, contained lyrics about a women who loves American football.

Lenny Kravitz will perform alongside Perry during the show.
