Stoke City midfielder Brek Shea reportedly removes an online photo of himself holding two guns.

Stoke City midfielder Brek Shea has reportedly swiftly removed an online photo of himself holding a pair of guns.

The 23-year-old Texan, who signed for the Potters in January, posed for the controversial photo on Instagram wearing a vest of the American flag.

Despite fire-arms being legal in Texas, the midfielder quickly deleted the online snap, according to the Daily Mail.

Norwich City defender Sebastien Bassong recently sparked controversy when he posed for a photo with a gun in hand.
