Site of Tottenham Hotspur's new stadium in flames

A building on the site of Tottenham Hotspur's new stadium next to White Hart Lane goes up in flames.

Firefighters have been sent to battle a blaze at one of the buildings on the site of Tottenham Hotspur's new stadium adjacent to White Hart Lane.

Reports have claimed that calls were made to the London Fire Brigade at 5.18am this morning and the entire first floor of the building is on fire at Archway Sheet Metal factory.

The owners, who previously claimed that they had received death threats from Spurs fans due to their stance against the club's stadium move, told ITV News that they suspect arson.

The North London club have suffered numerous setbacks in their plans for the £100m ground, including a dispute with a local business.
