David Moyes attends funeral of Real Sociedad fan killed in car crash

Real Sociedad manager David Moyes has attended the funeral of a supporter who was killed in a car crash while travelling to a game last weekend.

The young Sociedad supporter lost his life on the way to watch his side meet Real Madrid at the Bernabeu - a game which ended in a 4-1 loss for the visitors.

There was a minute's silence before the match and both sides wore black armbands as a tribute, but Moyes went a step further by making an appearance at the funeral on behalf of the club.

The former Everton and Manchester United manager took over at Sociedad in November.
