Video: Albania fans try to rile Cristiano Ronaldo by chanting 'Messi'

Albania fans caught the attention of Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo by chanting the name of his biggest rival Lionel Messi prior to Monday's Euro 2016 qualifier.

The Real Madrid winger, who has been battling Messi for the Ballon d'Or title for the last few years, was on international duty with his nation this week.

Prior to Portugal's 1-0 triumph in Elbasan, Ronaldo was targeted by Albania fans, who chanted "Messi, Messi!" in the stadium during his warm-up.

The supporters' attempts to get under the footballer's skin did not go unnoticed as Ronaldo urged the supporters to keep chanting.
