Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo happily poses for selfies with tennis fans during the Madrid Open on Thursday.

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo took some time to meet fans while attending Thursday's play at the Madrid Open tennis tournament.

The Ballon d'Or winner was in attendance to watch home favourite Rafael Nadal seal a straight-sets win over Simone Bolelli on the clay court.

While watching the third-round match, numerous spectators approached the Portugal captain for selfies, and the former Manchester United star appeared more than happy to oblige.

Earlier in the week, Ronaldo got on the scoresheet for Madrid, but his side suffered a 2-1 defeat to Juventus in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.
