Real Madrid stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale in heated argument?

Real Madrid teammates Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale are rumoured to have been involved in a heated argument following last night's Copa del Rey exit.

The holders were knocked out of the competition before the quarter-final stage following a 4-2 aggregate defeat to local rivals Atletico Madrid at the Bernabeu.

In recent weeks, there have been suggestions that Ronaldo and Bale don't see eye to eye, and reports on social media have fuelled such speculation following last night's defeat.

According to reports in Spain, the pair had an angry exchange in the dressing room after they failed to bounce back from their first-leg 2-0 deficit.

Bale joined Madrid last summer for £85m, which surpassed the then-world record £80m fee paid by the Spanish giants to sign Ronaldo from Manchester United in 2009.
