Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that he banned his grandchildren from attending a recent match because of the "abuse" he suffers from opposing fans.

The 67-year-old stopped his son Jamie's boys Charles, eight, and Beau, six, from heading to Southampton to watch QPR's 2-1 defeat back in September.

"I recently wouldn't let my grandchildren, who are six and eight, come to see QPR at Southampton because I didn't want for them to hear me called a cunt for the whole game," Redknapp told FourFourTwo magazine.

In the Premier League, QPR moved out of the relegation zone following Saturday's 2-0 win over Burnley.
