David Beckham 'takes French cookery lessons'

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder David Beckham has reportedly enrolled in cookery lessons in order to impress his family with French cuisine.

The 37-year-old, who signed a five-month contract with the Ligue 1 side, is thought to have also begun learning French so he can understand the basics during his time in the country.

"David is loving the French life and has decided he wants to immerse himself in it further by learning how to cook their meals," a source told the Sunday People.

Reports have claimed that Beckham, who has yet to make his debut for PSG due to a lack of match fitness, is believed to have taken up lessons from head chef Eric Frechon at the Le Bristol hotel.
