NBA fan wins £12k by making half-court shot

A basketball fan went home with over £12,000 after scoring a half-court shot during the Oklahoma City Thunder's win over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Brad Brucker stepped up to take on the challenge during the half-time interval of last night's encounter.

According to the Daily Mail, after pocketing £12,350 for making the shot, the basketball fan received a congratulatory handshake from US rapper Jay-Z, who was watching the game with his wife Beyonce.

Thunder managed to clinch the victory comfortably with a 105-91 win.
