Durant dismisses lawsuit against former accountant

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant has dismissed his federal lawsuit against his former accountant.

The 25-year-old filed the case against Joel Lynn Elliott in federal court in San Jose, California in December, claiming that the accountant had deducted some personal expenses as business expenses on Durant's taxes without proper documentation.

The lawsuit also alleged that Elliott was guilty of professional negligence, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract, with Durant demanding a total compensation of $6,00,000 (£3,60,000).

However, according to The AP, Durant and his company - K. Durant Enterprises LLC – have now decided to drop the lawsuit.
