Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor criticises his the foreign players at the club for having bad fashion sense.

Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor has criticised the fashion sense of his teammates by suggesting that the "foreign lads" are too flashy.

The 27-year-old, who took part in a photoshoot for Top Man Generation magazine, has revealed that Jonas Gutierrez and Tim Krul are among the worst-dressed players at the club.

"Jonas Gutierrez is the worst for that though," the Daily Mail quotes Taylor as saying. "Honestly, he'll wear anything! I remember he once wore purple pants and a bright red top on a night out, it was horrendous but he just doesn't care!

"Tim Krul has a good go, wearing jeans that look like they've been sprayed on, but he's had the same Ian Walker haircut for the whole time I've known him so he never quite manages to pull it off."

The Magpies are currently 16th in the Premier League table.
