Former Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger is spotted carrying out community service for assaulting his girlfriend in March.

Former Newcastle United striker Nile Ranger was spotted last week carrying out community service for assaulting his girlfriend.

The 22-year-old was photographed wearing a orange workman's vest while scraping paint off of a handrail at a sports centre in Tottenham, North London.

"He seemed remorseful," a passer-by told The Sun.

Ranger was handed the order by a court for attacking his other half Shakira Bicar in March.
