Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew bets a 'Mars bar' with an Everton fan that the Magpies will finish above the Merseyside outfit in the Premier League.

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew made a bet with an Everton fan ahead of his side's clash at Goodison Park a fortnight ago.

The ex-West Ham United boss was filmed by a supporter while signing autographs ahead of their 3-2 defeat to the Merseyside outfit.

While meeting fans, one Toffees supporter asked Pardew whether he thinks Newcastle will get relegated. The Magpies coach responded by saying that he will bet the fan a 'Mars bar' that his team will finish higher in the Premier League than Everton.
