World Cup supporters celebrate famous RVP header with #VanPersieing hashtag

World Cup supporters launch the #VanPersieing hashtag in celebration of Robin Van Persie's header against Spain.

Supporters all over the world have taken to the new trend of tweeting "#VanPersieing" along with a photograph showing their attempt of the famous header.

Robin Van Persie's header during the Netherlands' 5-1 win over Spain has gone viral with the new craze, which follows 'planking'.

Fans are tweeting pictures of themselves copying the dive, which resulted in the Manchester United striker equalising for Holland just before half time.

Four second-half goals then saw the Dutch record a remarkable victory over the defending champions, avenging their defeat in the final four years ago.
