Hamsik robbed at gunpoint

Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik has been robbed at gunpoint following his side's goalless draw with Sampdoria on Sunday.

The 25-year-old Slovakian was driving to the city's Capodichino airport when two men stopped his car and made off with his watch and other valuables.

Police were called to the scene, but the alleged culprits had already made a quick getaway, according to the Daily Mail.

Other Napoli players, including Valon Behrami, Edinson Cavani and Salvatore Aronica, have also been targeted by criminals in the past year.
