Arrest following Millwall racism probe

A 53-year-old man has been arrested as part of a police investigation into claims of racism among Millwall fans.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that they have arrested a man from Enfield for a racially aggravated public order offence.

The investigation was launched following a Sky Sports News special report that appeared to show fans racially abusing Leeds United striker El Hadji Diouf during their Championship game in November.

The club have said that they are appalled by the footage, and that any fans found guilty will receive a life ban from The Den.
