Middlesbrough's Stuart Parnaby backs charity helping bereaved parents

Parnaby backs charity for bereaved parents

Middlesbrough right-back Stuart Parnaby has given his backing to a charity aiming to help bereaved parents dealing with the loss of still-born babies.

Parnaby, who returned to Boro from Birmingham City in 2012, and his wife Paula took comfort from the 4Louis charity when they lost their daughter Poppy before Christmas.

The 31-year-old's wife has called on others via a donation page on justgiving to give money to the charity as opposed to buying flowers for their daughter's funeral, according to the Daily Mail.

The 4Louis charity provides memory boxes for the parents, which contain a clay impression kit for feet and hand imprints of their children, as well as an angel and a teddy bear.
