Nicole Scherzinger "excited" to spend more time with Lewis Hamilton

Singer Nicole Scherzinger has said that she is "excited" to spend more time with her Formula 1 driver boyfriend Lewis Hamilton after moving to London.

The American singer has been dating the Mercedes driver on and off since 2007, and has left her homeland to live just 30 miles from the 29-year-old's family home in Hertfordshire.

The former X Factor judge told The Mirror: "I have been in the same relationship for several years now and it's hard making it long distance. So, I'm looking forward to making it all work. I'm excited."

The 2008 world champion posted a picture of himself helping Scherzinger pick up groceries for her new home on Twitter:

Hamilton currently leads the F1 drivers' standings with one race remaining this season.
