Formula 1 ace Lewis Hamilton attends MTV Video Music Awards afterparty

Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton mingled with A-list celebrities following Sunday night's MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.

The British sportsman has a week off before he jumps back into his Mercedes to compete in the Italian Grand Prix at Monza next Sunday.

After the awards bash, the 30-year-old joined up with model Gigi Hadid and singer Joe Jonas, who performed a DJ set at one of the afterparties.

Alongside an Instagram picture of himself with Hadid, Hamilton wrote: "VMA weekend hanging with my good friend @gigihadid while the homie @joejonas DJs!!"
