Hamilton takes pet dog paddle boarding

Formula 1 star Lewis Hamilton decided to take his pet bulldog Coco paddle boarding while spending his mid-season break in Barbados.

The 30-year-old, who is on course to defend his F1 title with Mercedes, recently jetted to the Caribbean for some down time while the season breaks for three weeks.

While enjoying the island's waters, the British sportsman opted to involve his two-year-old dog, who was equipped with a life jacket.

Alongside an Instagram picture, Hamilton wrote: "A day in paradise paddle boarding w/ my Coconut."

Hamilton was photographed at the weekend partying with popstar Rihanna at the annual Kadooment Day parade.
