Mercedes's Lewis Hamilton models for Mr Porter fashion website

Mercedes's Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton has temporarily switched his focus to fashion by modelling for men's fashion website Mr Porter.

The 28-year-old, who will take to Silverstone for the British Grand Prix this Sunday, posed for the online magazine at the track this week.

"I try not to make it difficult for people," Hamilton told the website. "But when you put something on, you've got to feel comfortable in it, and comfortable being seen in it. It's like a new layer of skin."

Hamilton is the last British racer to win at Silverstone following his victory for McLaren in 2008.
