Nicole Scherzinger celebrates Lewis Hamilton's title success in Abu Dhabi

American popstar Nicole Scherzinger has expressed her pride after boyfriend Lewis Hamilton secured world championship glory in Abu Dhabi with Mercedes.

The Formula 1 star clinched the second title of his career ahead of teammate Nico Rosberg after winning the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on Sunday.

Scherzinger, who has had an on-off relationship with the Brit for around six years, joined Hamilton's family and friends at the Yas Marina Circuit.

During the celebrations, the former Pussycat Doll uploaded a photo to Instagram of herself kissing the sportsman, with the caption: "Congratulations babe for winning the #2014F1WorldChamionship !!! I'm soooo proud of you!!! #GodisGood #abudhabiGP."

She also posted a picture of the couple holding Hamilton's trophy, with the message: "Ahhh!!! My man @lewishamilton #2014F1WorldChampion #soblessed."
