Video: Manchester United's Wayne Rooney sings with Ed Sheeran in a pub

Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has shown off his music skills by singing along with popstar Ed Sheeran in a pub.

The England skipper met the 23-year-old backstage after attending his gig in Manchester last month.

It appears though that the pair's meeting extended to more than just a photo opportunity as a video has emerged showing Sheeran playing one of his songs on guitar with Rooney adding some vocals.

On the pitch, Rooney played in Sunday's 1-0 defeat to local rivals Manchester City, which was his first appearance after serving a three-match ban.
