Wayne Rooney's wife Coleen hits back at Duchess of Cornwall

Wayne Rooney's wife Coleen has hit back at the Duchess of Cornwall for suggesting that she should be more "sensible" with her spending.

The wife of Prince Charles made the comment after seeing a photograph of the Manchester United striker's other half wearing her wedding dress, which was reported to have cost £5m.

Coleen reacted to the comment on Twitter by saying: "I apparently paid around 5 million for my wedding dress!! Joke!!! Diamonds on it..... Not one!

"Camilla (Duchess of Cornwall) should know better and teach children to not always believe the rubbish reported in papers!!"

Coleen married the England striker in 2007.
