Wayne Rooney 'visited Carl Froch in dressing room before bout'

Wayne Rooney reportedly gave Carl Froch a personal visit ahead of his winning bout against Mikkel Kessler.

The 35-year-old became the unified WBA and IBF super middleweight champion following his points victory at the O2 Arena on Saturday night.

Before he entered the ring, Froch received a visit from England international Rooney in his dressing room, according to the Daily Star.

The Man Utd striker welcomed his second son Klay into his family last week.
