Manchester United's Wayne Rooney turns up to team meal with WAGs

Manchester United stars, including striker Wayne Rooney, were out in force in the city for a team meal on Deansgate last night.

The Premier League champions' first-team players Robin van Persie, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic were among the squad that turned up for the evening get-together with manager David Moyes.

Despite doubts over Rooney's future at Old Trafford, the 27-year-old was pictured by the Daily Mail arriving for the meal with his wife Coleen.

The majority of the team's wives and girlfriends were also in attendance for the meal.
