Wayne and Colleen Rooney expecting another child

Wayne Rooney has revealed that he and his wife are expecting their third child.

The Manchester United striker already has two sons with partner Colleen - Kai, born in 2009, and Klay, born in 2013 - but the 29-year-old confirmed that another is on the way.

The England captain wrote on Twitter: "Delighted that me and @ColeenRoo have our 3rd child on the way."

His spouse, also 29, added: "Baby number 3 is on the way ...... January!! We are so happy and excited."

The duo tied the knot in June 2008, after dating for six years.
