Report: Rio Ferdinand to become Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model judge

Manchester United centre-back Rio Ferdinand is reportedly being lined up to become a judge on the next series of Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model.

If confirmed Ferdinand would become the first footballer to appear on the panel of the show, which attempts to find the next fashion supermodel.

According to the Sunday People, a source close to Ferdinand said: "It will be hilarious to watch Rio on the show. He sees himself as a bit of style expert but he's up for a laugh, too."

The next series of the show will air this July.
