A number of Manchester United fans have reportedly threatened not to renew their season tickets if Europa League games are priced the same as Champions League outings.
The club's Automatic Cup Scheme requires season-ticket holders to buy tickets for Champions League and FA Cup matches, and if they fail to do so, fans will be handed a one-game Premier League suspension.
The North-West outfit are more likely to be playing in the second-tiered European competition next season as opposed to the Champions League due to currently being seventh in the league table.
According to the Daily Mail, a survey by the Manchester United Supporters Trust found that 73.5% of fans would consider their decision to renew their season tickets if Europa League ties were included in the scheme.
United are in danger of getting booted out of the current Champions League campaign after losing 2-0 to Olympiacos in the first leg of their round-of-16 tie last week.
