Man Utd dominate Man City in shirt sales

A study has revealed that Manchester United have won the battle over their rivals Manchester City in local shirt sales.

Figures released by Sports Direct have shown that almost 95% of shirts sold in Manchester are United red, while only 5.43% are City.

It has also been revealed that 44.71% of United shirts are bought in London, while 10.33% are purchased in Manchester.

It is a similar statistic for Liverpool as around 50% of their shirts are bought in London, while Dublin and Bristol outsell stores on Merseyside.

Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea all contain the most sales in their city.
