Funeral of Neville brothers' father to be held in Bury today

The funeral of the father of Phil and Gary Neville will take place later today in Bury.

Neville Neville died earlier this month after being taken ill shortly after arriving in Australia.

The 65-year-old, who was the father of ex-Manchester United players Phil and Gary, was Down Under to support his daughter Tracey Neville as she coached England in the Netball World Cup.

A funeral service for Neville, who was formerly a commercial director of Bury FC, will be held later today, followed by a private burial, according to BBC News.

Phil Neville now works as assistant manager at Spanish club Valencia, while Gary splits his time between the England coaching staff and his punditry duties for Sky Sports.
