Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand mocks Adnan Januzaj's Nando's date

Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has poked fun at his teammate Adnan Januzaj for reportedly taking a girl to Nando's on a date.

The 18-year-old, who is believed to be earning £30,000 per week at Old Trafford, is said to have taken a female student to the budget chicken restaurant.

After the story appeared in a national newspaper, Januzaj was mocked for not splashing out and allegedly wearing a tracksuit while on the date.

Ferdinand has also teased Januzaj by posting a picture of the pair on Instagram with the line, 'Nando's is that way bro'. He accompanied the image with the message: "@Adizero44 you the man bro!"
