Calum Best: 'I wanted hair transplant after seeing Wayne Rooney's'

Best: 'Rooney's hair transplant inspired me'

Calum Best has revealed that Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney's decision to undergo a hair transplant convinced him to get the same procedure.

The 31-year-old, who is the son of the late United legend George Best, spent £8,000 on treating his receding hairline at the Crown Clinic in Manchester.

"I am so pleased I had it done," the Daily Mail quotes Best as saying. "I was fed up of losing my hair and wanted to look good.

"You only have to see how much better people like Wayne Rooney, James Nesbitt and Gordon Ramsay look after having similar operations."

Best, who has appeared on numerous reality shows, has claimed that he began losing his hair at the age of 23.
