Arsenal's Danny Welbeck named as Manchester United player on England squad sheet

Arsenal's Danny Welbeck is named as a Manchester United player on England's official squad sheet for next week's Euro 2016 qualifiers.

A sheet listing the players who Roy Hodgson has selected to represent England in next week's Euro 2016 qualifiers contained a mistake involving Danny Welbeck's club.

The striker left Manchester United on transfer deadline day to join Arsenal for a reported £16m fee.

Despite having been an official Gunners player for just over a month, Welbeck was still deemed part of the United setup on the sheet distributed by the FA to the media confirming the Three Lions squad today.

A number of journalists posted an image of the squad sheet on Twitter to highlight the blunder.
