Sevilla charging Manchester United fans up to £133 a ticket

Sevilla are charging Manchester United supporters as much as £133 a ticket for February's Champions League last-16 tie at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

The Red Devils make the trip to Andalusia on February 21 for the first leg of the double-header, before welcoming their opponents to Old Trafford three weeks later.

Tickets were expected to cost £54, which was the case when Liverpool travelled to Seville in November, but Los Rojiblancos have instead set the price of a standard seat at £89 and 200 category one seats at £133.

United have been given an allocation of 2,450 tickets for next year's match, with the more expensive category an increase of 65% compared to the sum Liverpool fans had to hand over.

However, Sky Sports News claims that no UEFA rules have been contravened as the value of home end tickets has also been increased.
