Mario Balotelli becomes father

Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has become a father with the birth of his daughter Pia on Wednesday evening.

The 22-year-old's girlfriend Raffaella Fico gave birth in Naples, but the Italy international was not present as he was still in England.

However, it has been reported that Balotelli will fly out to Italy to see his newly-born daughter and his model girlfriend.

Balotelli and Fico have fostered an on-and-off relationship and have recently got back together.
